Better Protection for Consumer Privacy

Tony demands greater protection and accountability with Bill 38.
Often times a bank or consumer reporting agency suffer lapses in security which threaten the security of our own information. At present the law does not require that institution to even notify consumers that their information may have been compromised.

In the case of consumer reports that are legally attained there are no safeguards to ensure that the personal information disclosed doesn't unwittingly put us at risk for identity theft. Bill 38 seeks to correct these mistakes and require greater accountability from the financial institutions and reporting agencies on which we are forced to depend.

Tackling Climate Change

Tony believes that we can make a difference when dealing  the problem of global warming.  Within this riding, Tony has held public meetings on energy conservation, led the fight to phase out incandescent light bulbs, and assisted in establishing the Rail-path nature trail and now is urging that, as a community, we all do our part.

Below is a link to our Environmental brochure which is filled with insights, tips, and outlines various ways that your family and our community can make small changes that can make a large impact on the challenges that we face.

Every day the illicit drug trade claims new victims.  Tony, like many of you within our community, wants to see significant changes made  to current acts and policies to empower our law enforcers to get tough on those who target our young people and attempt to destroy our communities.
